Summary

Description
The Alaska Army National Guard “Predators of the North” race during the litter carry event of the Fourth Annual Hero Games, June 23. During the litter carry, four team members race 200 yards up and down 4th Avenue carrying a rescue dummy. TheFourth Annual Hero Games’ five overall events included the obstacle course, litter carry/scooter race, water balloon volleyball, bucket brigade/vehicle push, and tug-of-war. Participants included teams represented by Anchorage Police, Anchorage Fire Department, U.S. Air Force, Air Force Reserve, U.S. Army, Alaska Air National Guard and the Alaska Army National Guard. The Hero Games are held each year during the Summer Solstice festival in downtown Anchorage.
