Notes Most other sources than Bifrost give the name as “Marjatta ja Kristuslapsi” rather than just “Marjatta”. It seems to be mostly known from Arabia-brand plates as the owner isn’t putting it on display at all. HS also gave the date as 1895–1900, but they used a picture of the Arabia plate in a non-plate article about women in Kalevala, so it’s not sure if they have a good source. Tampere Art Museum gave the name as “Marjatta ja Kristus-lapsi” so it does appear that’s not just something the plate makers came up with.
