Summary

Aiwa XK-S 7000 cassette deck built from 1992 to 1994. This was a high-priced device (in 2023 money value ca. 1200 Euros) which had some top of the range features (3 heads, 3 motors, Dolby B, C, S) and one extraordinary feature, which is a 18-bit dual digital analog converter, as well as a coaxial digital and an optical digital input. Hence, the digital output signal from (typically) a CD player could be input directly into the cassette deck, a feature which was/is extremely seldom, if not unique in the cassette deck sector.
