The "Illegitimate" version (19.307 bytes) did simple things (see code above) most complicated. It used
16 grouping instructions
22 transform matrices (all obsolete)
56 gradients (none of them used)
79 color definitions (most of them unused)
92 pathes, complicated defined
101 unreferenced 'id' attributes

to create that simple ribbon in a crazy width of more than 3600 px.
