Blazoning of arms: “Sable, on a base proper (Vert) a representation of the patron-saint of Zell am See, Saint Hippolytus, that is a knight facing dexter, armed at all points, nimbed Or, wearing a cap Gules with a cuff Ermine and bearing over his sinister shoulder a coat Gules, in his dexter arm holding a guidon Argent a cross Gules, in his sinister arm, that is also supporting the coat, a sword leaned against his shoulder.”
