Blazon: On a disc Azure, a falcon displayed Or detailed Bronze grasping in its claws two lightning bolts in chevron reversed surmounting each wing and convergent in base Gules, all within a narrow border Yellow. Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “616TH ACOMS” in Yellow letters.

Significance: Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The falcon represents the unit’s involvement in support of air operations and campaigns. The lightning bolts denote communication and the speed at which it travels.
