One of a series of 55 MPH speed limit signs on I-45 southbound at the Montgomery County border. This is many miles from the outer fringe of northern Houston-area development. Notice the unusual (for Texas) placement of speed limit signs on both sides of the roadway. Picture taken by Aren Cambre on 8-30-02. |
