Notgeld (German for "emergency money" or "necessity money"), issued by the city of Cologne, Germany, 1922, depicting two members of the carnival guard Rote Funken in the uniforms of city soldiers from Cologne who are performing the traditional dance Stippeföttche. Signed by Lord Mayor Konrad Adenauer, later the first chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. Size: 100 mm × 60 mm.
