Description

An A-7D Corsair II aircraft takes off from Howard Air Froce Base to provide close air support for troops participating in an Army training and evaluation program (ARTEP).

  • 1971: Delivered to 355th Tactical Fighter Wing/333d TFS, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ (c/n D-042)
  • Transferred to 354th Tactical Fighter Wing/355th TFS, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC, 1972
  • Transferred to 124th Tactical Fighter Squadron, IA Air National Guard, 1977
  • Transferred to 166th Tactical Fighter Squadron, OH Air National Guard, 1985
  • Transferred to AMARC as AE0162 Jun 24, 1992.
  • Disposition:24-APR-98 / To Fritz Enterprises, Taylor, MI. (Actually to HVF West yard, Tucson). Scrapped.
