Description

The VY Commodore was built from Sept 2002-August 2004. The 2nd update on the 3rd generation Commodore, the front and rear styling was updated and the interior restyled as well. An all wheel drive system was developed at Holden, limited numbers were used on the Wagon (Adventra). Crewman (Cross 8) and Coupe (Coupe4) Sedans available were; Executive, Acclaim, Berlina, Calais, S, SV8 and SS. The commercial line consisted of the utility, one tonner and Crewman. The V2 2 door Monaro was introduced in 2001, available in CV6, CV8 and HSV improved GTO, GTS and Coupe 4. HSV also built performance sedans for Holden, available were; Clubsport, R8, GTS, Senator and Grange. Also Maloo ute. The Clubsport was the base model available from HSV, it got the sports interior, full HSV body kit, 18in alloys, HSV suspension, LSD and 285kw 5.7 V8
