Summary

Description

The XG Utility and Panel Van were built from March 93-March 96. In 1988, the XF Falcon was replaced by the completely new EA Series, resembling the Ford Scorpio of Europe. This new Falcon shape went through five Series, the EA, EB, ED, EF and EL, from 1988-1998, before being replaced by another new Falcon, the AU. With the EA to EL Falcons, there were no Utilitys or Panel Vans built in this shape, the old XF commercials (utility and panel van) continued on during this time. With the introduction of the EB, the grille on the ute got a minor update as well and it got the OHC 4.0 engine, now referred to as the XG Series The sporty XR6 was introduced with the EB Falcon, a similar front to the standard Falcon. With the XR6 in the next model, the ED, it got a quad headlight front. The XG followed suit, the XR6 got the quad headlight front too. Engine; 148kw 4.0 litre 6 cyl (161kw in XR6) Available in Longreach GLi Ute and Van, Longreach S Ute, Outback Ute and XR6 Ute Also GLi Panel Van

With the restyle on the sedan in 1994, the EF, the front clip of the ute and van got a similar restyle in 1994, known as the XH
