I use WIKI 2 every day and almost forgot how the original Wikipedia looks like.

What we do. Every page goes through several hundred of perfecting techniques; in live mode. Quite the same Wikipedia. Just better.
I saw this car 6 months ago today so I have finally got around to uploading it. What's even more ironic and appropriate is that today also happens to be this car's 53rd birthday - first registered in Ashburton on 1st July 1963! The timing of the upload is, I swear, purely coincidental.
Amazingly, this car has never lived outside Ashburton, where I took this photo! I managed to talk to the owner as it was parked outside his house in preparation for a VCC event. It was sold new in 1963 to a Mr. David Cairns by Drummond & Etheridge, a long-standing Ashburton dealer who now sell Nissan. In January 1975 the current owner who I spoke to, only the 2nd ever, purchased the car from Gluyas Motors (another Ashburton dealer who have long sold Ford) and he STILL owns it 41 years on.
It is a RHD Canadian Pontiac that was made for export. It has only done 87,000 genuine miles, the current owners having purchased it at 31,000. At the time of this photograph in January it had only just had the brakes and master cylinder fully overhauled for the FIRST time in its life! A truly fabulous car with an amazing history of just 2 owners, both in the same Canterbury town.
