Description

Studebaker built wagons in the 1800s, electric automobiles starting in 1902 and gasoline vehicles from 1904 to 1966. The 1947-52 third generation 115 inch wheelbase Champion was completely redesigned, included new rear window and flat front fenders. 1950-51 cars got the unique 'Spinner Grille', Models available in 1951; Base model Champion Custom; 2 door Sedan, Coupe, Starlight Coupe and 4 door Sedan Mid spec Champion Deluxe; 2 door Sedan, Coupe, Starlight Coupe and 4 door Sedan The top model was the Champion Regal; 2 door Sedan, Convertible, Coupe, Starlight Coupe and 4 door Sedan Also available in 1951 was the 120hp 232 V8 Studebaker Commander, available in base Deluxe, mid spec Regal and top Commander State. The slightly longer 119 inch wheelbase Commander Land Cruiser was also available
