Euphaedra castanoides, or the chestnut orange forester, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of forests.

The larvae possibly feed on Sapindaceae species.
