Emir is a variety of white grape that is indigenous to the Cappadocia region of Turkey. It’s appearance is very similar to another grape variety called Emir. The cultivation of this crop is primarily concentrated in the provinces of Cappadocia and Nevşehir.[1]

Emir is commonly utilized in the production of various types of wine. A particular variety exhibits a hue of light yellow accompanied by green reflections.[2]

Emir can be used to produce sparkling wines. These wines typically exhibit a light-yellow hue and possess a notable level of acidity. [3]

Emir is not typically aged in oak barrels and is best consumed within a period of one to two years.
