Career

Lincoln City

Chapman came through the Lincoln City youth-team, before being purchased by Leicester City's Academy for an undisclosed fee in 2016.[3] He returned to Lincoln City the following year and made the first-team bench in September 2017, at the age of 16, after impressing "Imps" manager Danny Cowley.[4] He made his senior debut on 24 October, coming on as a 70th-minute substitute for Michael Bostwick in a 2–1 victory over Everton U23 in an EFL Trophy group stage match at Sincil Bank.[5]

Cheltenham Town

On 15 October 2020, it was announced that Chapman had joined Cheltenham Town,[6] with Lincoln City retaining a future financial interest in the player.[7]

On 17 November 2022, Chapman signed for National League club Oldham Athletic on a one-month loan deal.[8]

Sligo Rovers

On 22 December 2023, it was announced that upon the opening of the transfer window, Chapman would be loaned to League of Ireland Premier Division side Sligo Rovers on loan until June.[9] On 15 February 2024, he made the move permanent before he had made his competitive debut for the club.[10]

Style of play

Chapman is a midfielder with excellent passing skills and good tactical intelligence.[4]
