Elisabeth Margue (born 7 April 1990) is a Luxembourgish politician and lawyer who has been serving as the minister of justice since 17 November 2023.

Life

Elisabeth Margue studied private law at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and holds a Master's degree in industrial property. She also has a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics.[1]

She joins the Christian Social People's Party in 2007.[2] She becomes president of this party in March 2022.[3]

She is part of the Frieden-Bettel Government, a coalition between the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and the Democratic Party (DP) and is named Minister of Justice, Minister delegated to the Prime Minister, responsible for Media and Communications, Minister delegated to the Prime Minister, responsible for Relations with Parliament.[4][5]
