Dzikowiec [d͡ʑiˈkɔvjɛt͡s] is a village in Kolbuszowa County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Dzikowiec.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Kolbuszowa and 30 km (19 mi) north of the regional capital Rzeszów.

Until 20 December 1998 the village was named Stary Dzikowiec (Old Dzikowiec), next changed to Dzikowiec[2]
