Dizan (Persian: ديزان)[a] is a village in Jovestan Rural District of Bala Taleqan District, Taleqan County, Alborz province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 570 in 194 households, when it was in Bala Taleqan Rural District of the former Taleqan District, Savojbolagh County, Tehran province.[4]

In October 2010, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Taleqan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Taleqan as its capital and only city.[5]

The latest census in 2016 counted 665 people in 248 households, by which time the county had become a part of the newly established Alborz province.[6] It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
