Dennis P. Hogan is an American sociologist, currently the Robert E. Turner Distinguished Professor in Population at Brown University,[1] and also a published author.[2] From 1987 to 1995, he was the Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Director of the Population Research Institute, Pennsylvania State University.[1] His highest cited paper is "The impact of social status, family structure, and neighborhood on the fertility of black adolescents" at 1102 times, according to Google Scholar as of April 2018.[3]
