He previously rode for the Quick-Step, Fuji–Servetto, Team Sky,[2] Leopard Trek, Lampre–Merida,[3] Caja Rural–Seguros RGA,[1] Team Idea 2010 ASD,[4] and Androni Giocattoli–Sidermec teams.
