David Mamutovic (Serbian: Давид Мамутовић, romanizedDavid Mamutović; born 5 December 2000) is a German professional footballer who plays as a winger for Bundesliga club Mainz.

Playing career

Mamutovic is a youth product of SG Unterrath, Bayer Leverkusen and Bergisch Gladbach. [1] He began his senior career with Bergisch Gladbach in the Regionalliga in 2019. He spent the 2021–22 season with Rot Weiss Ahlen.[2] On 20 May 2022, he moved to Mainz, where he was originally assigned to their reserves.[3] On 15 December 2023, he signed his first professional contract with Mainz until 2025.[4] He made his professional debut with the senior Mainz team as a late substitute in a 1–0 Bundesliga loss to Heidenheim on 16 December 2023.[5]

International career

Born in Germany, Mamutovic is of Serbian and Polish descent.[1][6] He was called up to a training camp with the Germany U15s.[7]
