Club career

He made his debut in the Russian Football National League for Zenit-2 St. Petersburg on 13 April 2019 in a game against Baltika Kaliningrad.[1]

He made his debut for the senior squad of Zenit on 30 October 2019 in a Russian Cup game against Tom Tomsk.[2] He made his Russian Premier League debut for the club on 11 July 2020 in a game against Akhmat Grozny, as a starter.[3]

On 22 February 2021, he joined Sochi on loan until the end of the 2021–22 season.[4]

On 5 June 2021, Rostov bought out his rights from Zenit St. Petersburg and he signed a long-term contract with Rostov. For the 2021–22 season, he was loaned back to Sochi.[5]

On 27 December 2023, Prokhin moved to Orenburg on loan with an option to buy.[6]

International career

Prokhin was first called up to the Russia national football team for September 2023 camp.[7]
