The Dangi are an agricultural Hindu caste native to northern India. Their traditional occupation is farming. They speak several languages, but Hindi is the most commonly understood language among them.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][page needed][9][page needed] In Bihar, Dangi are a sub-caste of upwardly mobile Koeri caste.[10][11]
