"Choices 2020" is the ninth episode of the twelfth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.[1][2][3]

Episode

Jackie Cox wins the episode's Cats-inspired mini challenge.[4]

The episode's main challenge has contestants participate in a mock political summit.[5] Jaida Essence Hall is deemed the winner.[6] Jackie Cox and Widow Von'Du placed in the bottom two, and the latter was eliminated from the comptetition after losing a lip sync to "Firework" (2010) by Katy Perry.[7]

According to The Hollywood Reporter, guest judge Jeff Goldblum "[came] under fire on social media for asking if Islam was 'anti-homosexuality' and anti-woman'" on the episode.[8][9][10][11] His comment reportedly sparked a debate among viewers.[12][13][14]

Rachel Bloom was also a guest judge.[7]
