Chaithawat Tulathon (Thai: ชัยธวัช ตุลาธน; born 15 October 1978), nickname Tom,[3] is a Thai politician who has served as Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the Move Forward Party since 2023. He previously served as the party's secretary-general from 2020 to 2023.[4][5]

Early life

Chaithawat studied at Hatyaiwittayalai School and Triam Udom Suksa School, the latter of which he was classmates with Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit.[6]

Chaithawat studied Bachelor of Engineering Program in Environmental Engineering at Chulalongkorn University and was leader of the Student Federation of Thailand from 1998-1999.[4] In 2002 Chaithawat founded the Same Sky Books political magazine and served as its editor until 2018.[7]
