Cesena Football Club is an Italian football club based Cesena, Romagna. Currently it plays in Italy's Serie C. It's the new club of AC Cesena since 2018, the year that the club folded. For the first time since the club was refounded and promoted to Serie B in 2024.

History
AC Cesena was born from the ancestor US Renato Serra, founded in 1921.
In 1940 AC Cesena was officially founded, competing in the Prima Divisione at the time.
As time went, the club made great steps in the big football, reaching the Serie B in 1946-1947., the second league in the italian football.
In the years 1972-1973 were celebrated the first promotion to the top Italian league, Serie A. From then, Cesena grew more and more, even reaching his highest placing sixth place in Serie A in 1975-1976, qualifying for the UEFA Cup.
The last Serie A played was in 2014-2015, which followed a relegation to Serie B.[4][citation needed]
Failure and rebirth
In 2018 the A.C. Cesena, participant in Serie B, does not register for the next cadet championship, declaring the bankruptcy petition.[5]
In the summer of 2018, however, it was refounded from the ashes of the A.C. Cesena the "new Cesena", the Cesena FC[6].
The club currently playes in the Group B of Serie C.
Placing first, the Cesena FC is promoted to Serie B with four matchdays to spare, returning to the second divison after the failure, 6 years later.[7]
Colours and badge
As Cesena Football Club, the colours are black and white, and the symbol is the seahorse.[2][8][9]
The current shirt colors are white and black stripes for the home jersey, black and white the away and sea blue for the third jersey.[10]
Stadium
The team plays its home games at the Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi. It is the largest and most important football stadium in Romagna, and also the second outdoor sports facility after the Imola Autodrome.
The stadium actually contains 23.860 seats, but in the match Cesena-Milan in 1974, it reached the record of 35.991 people.
The training center is called "Centro Sportivo Alberto Rognoni" and includes 8 football fields.
