The Quireboys announced plans for a new album in March 2013 after signing with Off Yer Rocka Records in January.[1] "Too Much of a Good Thing" was released as the album's lead single on 15 May 2013. The album followed on 24 June.[2]

"Diamonds and Dirty Stones" followed as the second single on 24 August 2013. "Mother Mary" was released as the album's third and final single on 15 December 2013.

The band embarked on a UK tour in support of the album in October 2013.[3]
