Avshar (Armenian: Ավշար) is a village in the Ararat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia. It hosted the 1993 and 1995 CYMA – Canadian Youth Mission to Armenia led by Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and Ronald Alepian.
