Ankush Hazra is an Indian actor, film producer, dancer and television personality in the Bengali film industry.[1] He debuted in 2010 with the film Kellafate. He has also appeared in Khiladi, Kanamachi, Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay, Villain, Bibaho Obhijaan, Magic, FIR and Mirza. He launched the film production house Ankush Hazra Motion Pictures on 15 August 2022.[2]

Acting career

2010-2020

Hazra caught the attention of film director Pijus Saha who starred him in his romantic comedy film Kellafate of Banner-Prince Entertainment P4. This film was also produced by Saha. Hazra was paired opposite newcomer Rupashree.[3][4]

Later, Hazra starred in the Bengali romantic drama film Idiot of Eskay Movies, directed by Rajib Biswas.[citation needed] He returned with his Bengali film Kanamachi.[citation needed] His next film was Ki Kore Toke Bolbo.[citation needed] Bibaho Obhijaan released on 21 June 2019.[5]

2021-present

He did two promotional short films named Illusion and Enter View for the film Magic.[citation needed] His film include the crime thriller film FIR. He then had a guest appearance in Kishmish. [2] His film Savings Account released on ZEE5.[citation needed] In 2023, he acted in a number of films including Abar Bibaho Obhijaan and Love Marriage.

Personal life

Hazra was born on 14 February in Bardhaman, West Bengal.[6][7] He completed his education from Holy Rock School and East West Model School. He did B.B.A. from Heritage Academy.[7] As of July 2020, Hazra is in a relationship with fellow actress Oindrila Sen.[8][9][10]
