Anita Stewart (culinary author)

Anita Stewart, CM (2 July 1947^{[citation needed]} – 29 October 2020) was a Canadian culinary author and food activist.

Biography

Stewart was also the founder of Food Day Canada, the largest national culinary celebration in Canadian history. In 2011, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada.^{[1][failed verification]} Up until her death, she served as Food Laureate of the Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph.^[2]

She died on 29 October 2020,^[3] aged 73.^{[citation needed]}
