Anita Stewart, CM (2 July 1947[citation needed] – 29 October 2020) was a Canadian culinary author and food activist.

Biography

Stewart was also the founder of Food Day Canada, the largest national culinary celebration in Canadian history. In 2011, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada.[1][failed verification] Up until her death, she served as Food Laureate of the Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph.[2]

She died on 29 October 2020,[3] aged 73.[citation needed]
