2024 European Parliament election in Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The European Parliament election of 2024 is set to take place in Italy on 8–9 June 2024.

Background

Trentino-South Tyrol was previously dominated by the Centre-left coalition through the alliance between the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP) and their sister party Trentino Tyrolean Autonomist Party (PATT) and the nation-wide Democratic Party. After the 2018 provincial elections, slowly aligned with the Centre-right coalition.

Even though Die Freiheitlichen announced their candidacy in April 2024,[1] they did not submit a symbol the same month.[2]
