It is served by the Blue Line.[1] It has an island platform, and is located in the median of Long Beach Boulevard near the intersection of 1st Street in Long Beach, California. The station is on a loop at the south end of the Blue Line route and only has Southbound Service. 1st Street station was closed for about a month in September 2014 as Metro renovated the station and added new additional canopies.
