Pitt State vs. Delta State (football highlights)
Transcription
It was another cold night in the Jungle as the Pittsburg State Gorillas played host to the Delta State Statesmen in the semi-finals of the NCAA Division 2 playoffs. On the line would be a ticket to Florence Alabama and a chance at a National Championship. Delta State won the toss and after a quick three and out, punted from their own enzone, which would lead to this quick strike from standout sophomore John Brown. From there on the Gorillas didn’t look back tacking on additional 42 points and Pitt State’s defense shut down the Statesmen until a late fourth quarter touchdown, bringing the final tally to 49 – 23 Pittsburg State.
