Wyoming was won by 47th Governor of New York Thomas E. Dewey (RNew York), running with United States Senator and the 54th Governor of Ohio John W. Bricker, with 51.23 percent of the popular vote against President Franklin D. Roosevelt (DNew York), running with United States Senator Harry S. Truman, with 48.77 percent of the popular vote.[1]
