The 1944 season was the Chicago Bears' 25th in the National Football League. The team failed to improve on their 8–1–1 record from 1942 and finished at 6–3–1, under temporary co-coaches Hunk Anderson and Luke Johnsos. The team missed the playoffs for the first time since 1939, and did not claim their fourth title of the during the 1940s.[1]
