Zhavarud-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان ژاورود شرقي)[3] is in Sirvan District of Sanandaj County, Kurdistan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Turivar.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 7,762 in 1,913 households.[5] There were 6,224 inhabitants in 1,844 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,417 in 1,394 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of the new Sirvan District.[4] The most populous of its 14 villages was Hah Shamiz, with 1,355 people.[2]
