VodafoneZiggo Group B.V. is a Dutch joint venture between Vodafone Group and Liberty Global Plc, announced in February 2016,[1][2][3] approved by the European Commission in August 2016[4] and completed in December 2016.[5][6][7][8]

VodafoneZiggo is headquartered in Utrecht.[9]

Leadership

After the founding, Jeroen Hoencamp was appointed CEO of VodafoneZiggo since 2016.[10][11][12] Hoencamp was previously CEO of Vodafone Ireland since 2010.[13] He remains CEO as of 2019.[14]

On 21 May 2024, Vodafone and Liberty Global announced the appointment of Stephen van Rooyen as the CEO of VodafoneZiggo, effective from September 2024. Van Rooyen, previously CEO of Sky UK & Ireland, will succeed Jeroen Hoencamp, who retired, with Ritchy Drost serving as interim CEO until van Rooyen assumes the role.[15]
