Varces-Allières-et-Risset (French pronunciation: [vaʁsaljɛʁeʁisɛ]; Arpitan: Varse-Aliéres-et-Riosèc) is a commune in the Isère department in southeastern France.[3] It is part of the Grenoble urban unit (agglomeration).[4] It was created in 1955 by the merger of the former communes Varces and Allières-et-Risset.[3][5]
