Towhid (Persian: توحيد)[a] is a city in the Central District of Holeylan County, Ilam province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[3] The city is populated by Kurds.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 604 in 132 households, when it was in the former Holeylan District of Chardavol County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,475 people in 375 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,128 people in 601 households.[2]

In 2018, Holeylan District was separated from Chardavol County in the establishment of Holeylan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Towhid as its capital and only city.[3]
