Tambor is a district of the Alajuela canton, in the Alajuela province of Costa Rica.[1][2]

History

Tambor was created on 6 November 1922 by Decreto 28.[2]

Geography

Tambor has an area of 13.88 km2[3] and an elevation of 950 metres.[1]
