Surmaq (Persian: سورمق)[a] is a city in the Central District of Abadeh County, Fars province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Surmaq Rural District.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 3,116 in 917 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,458 people in 1,083 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,050 people in 1,052 households.[2]
