San Carlos I is a census-designated place (CDP) in Webb County, Texas, United States. This was a new CDP formed from parts of the Laredo Ranchettes CDP prior to the 2010 census, with a population of 316.[2]

It is one of several colonias in Webb County.[3]

Geography

San Carlos I is located at 27°29′26″N 99°22′21″W / 27.49056°N 99.37250°W / 27.49056; -99.37250 (27.490411, -99.372506). The CDP has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2), all land.[4]

Education

Residents are in the United Independent School District.[5] Zoned schools include: Freedom Elementary School,[6] Raul Perales Middle School,[7] and United South High School.[8]

The designated community college for Webb County is Laredo Community College.[9]
