Roger B. Turner Jr. is a United States Marine Corps lieutenant general who has served as the commanding general of the III Marine Expeditionary Force since January 26, 2024.[1] He previously served as the acting Deputy Commandant for Plans, Policies, and Operations.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

In April 2023, Turner was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and assignment as the commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force.[8][9]
