Otaqvar (Persian: اطاقور)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Otaqvar District of Langarud County, Gilan province, Iran,[4] and also serves as the administrative center for Otaqvar Rural District[5] (formerly Kumeleh Rural District).[6] It is connected to four other cities in Gilan: Langarud, Lahijan, Rudsar and Amlash, and is 16 km from the sea.

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,404 in 418 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 1,804 people in 540 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,938 people in 662 households.[2]
