Momenabad (Persian: مؤمن‌آباد)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Japelaq District of Azna County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3] It also serves as the administrative center for Japelaq-e Sharqi Rural District.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,230 in 326 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,561 people in 466 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,821 people in 550 households.[2]
