This article lists political parties in South Ossetia, a partially recognized Caucasian republic, considered by most countries to be a part of Georgia.^[1]

Opposition vs Establishment

South Ossetian political parties can largely fall under one of two camps. Pro-Establishment, which are more vocal of their support of annexation into Russia, characterized by increasing ties to Moscow, and the opposition, a more broad camp opposed to the establishment known for their more pragmatic approach to Russia, and support of domestic independence in the form of an increased role of the Judiciary and domestic economic ventures.
