Khorramdasht (Persian: خرمدشت)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Khorramdasht District of Takestan County, Qazvin province, Iran.[3] It is also the administrative center for Ramand-e Shomali Rural District.[4] The people of this city are Turkic.[5] [6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 6,192 in 1,590 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 6,725 people in 1,954 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 6,554 people in 1,997 households.[2]
