History of the journal

The journal was founded by Roger Brumback, MD in 1986,[1] nearly simultaneously with the founding of the journal Pediatric Neurology. John B. Bodensteiner and Robert M. Brumback remained editor-in-chief until his death in 2013, when Patterson became editor.[4]

Alison Christy was director of the board from 2017-2021. Sonika Agarwal has been the director of this board since 2021.
