Jeffrey Bryan Bregel (born May 1, 1964) is an American former professional football player who was a guard for three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1980s.

Bregel was born in Redondo Beach, California, and played scholastically at John F. Kennedy High School in Los Angeles.[1]

He played college football for the USC Trojans, where he was a two-time consensus All-American.[2] [3] As a senior, he was also an Academic All-American and the recipient of a National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete Award.[3][4]

He was selected by the 49ers in the second round of the 1987 NFL draft,[5] and spent his entire career with them.[1]
